OK. Screw it. I quit. There, I finally said it.  And now I'm doing it. And you can too if you put your mind to it.

I've slipped the bonds of the workaday world and attempt  the financial equivalent of running away to join the circus or exploring the world from the oily decks of a tramp steamer. Except my schtick is adventure travel meets online stock trading.

I'm talking about traveling the world "in style" by creating an inexhaustible supply of money that can propel me to any point on the globe.  I know it sounds impossible, but bear with me. <More

The next stop on my worldwide "trade-as-I-travel" adventure is all points West.  I haven't been on a U.S. road trip since I was a kid. So, it's off to see cable cars, the Grand Canyon, and parts of the Lincoln Highway. I'll be Tweeting as I go, and snapping a few pictures, if you're interested.    <More travel and trading on Charlie's Blog

Where's Charlie?

I ducked out for a couple of days to see Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater house in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania. Splendid house set in the Allegheny Mountains. You MUST visit this spread if you're into historical architecture.  <More

Where's Charlie?

My winter was spent stock trading (and drinking in the culture) in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Super vacation spot in the mountains not too far from where Bogart's Treasure of the Sierra Madre was filmed. I'm likely to spend next winter there, too.  <More

Where's Charlie?

I tripped out to Dubai to see what day trading is like in the United Arab Emirates. Why give my tax rebate to the corner gas station when I can eliminate the middle man and give it directly to King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud? <More

Where's Charlie?

This is the life. I mean it. Sunset Key is a coastal oasis off the shore of sunny Florida. You've got a whole island to yourself to scuba and sun.  You can day trade to your heart's content and play all night in Key West. <More

Where's Charlie?

Who says Americanos can't trade stocks online in Cuba? I found that it's a cool place to visit---but their Internet service is in the dark ages. Trying to trade stocks online is the equivalent of listening to the radio on a crystal set.  <More

Where's Charlie?

Online daytrading in Las Vegas? That's utterly stupid. Or is it? I took a quick trip to Vegas the other day and while it's still as plastic as a $2 toilet brush, things have changed since I was last there, some 20 years ago. It's more more like a $5 toilet brush.  <More

Where's Charlie?

On another recent jaunt, I hit Hawaii's Hanauma Bay for a refreshing dip. Incidentally, do you earn your income by buying, selling or trading from points all over the globe? Then post your wild and wooly videos on this site.  Make yourself famous. Click here for all the details.
